How is Isco not a big name?
Posted on 8/17/15 at 10:54 am to Jabroni
I think he was referring to DeBruyne.....

How Chelsea have not made a move for Isco is beyond my imagination.

well thats just not true
esp since KDB has been one of the names dominating transfer news the last few months even before the season ended.

Maybe they are working the channels..... I too, think that would be a bang up signing for Chelsea (and for Isco).
Hazard would probably give his left nut for Isco to come on board (the wear and tear he would save, plus the service, it´d be scary seeing those two together).

It's exactly the kind of player we need and one that we might could actually get based on his current situation.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt, I thought you replied upon seeing KDB.

Isco is the better player and would suit City's needs better.
But KDB is one of the hottest names in the game right now.

All this talk of Isco leaving is about to make me barf.....similar to the fiasco with AdM last year
Posted on 8/17/15 at 11:16 am to StraightCashHomey21
So you're implying City fans and management would be disappointed with Isco compared to KDB? Yeah, they're not that stupid by any means.

No shite. That said, I like him so much, I´d watch him play anywhere (and be happy).
I don´t think I could stomach seeing him as a sporadic super sub (probably not even that, with Benítez and his tactics, who´d use him only if a match were ´trabado´).

City fans pretty much have been all aboard the KDB pain train on any other forum and don't talk much about Isco.

I´m sure they feel there isn´t a shot (based on last summer´s foiled signing intent), and chat under the premise he´s not a consideration.

quote:Basically. A lot of them are also tired of the speculation because of how the last saga went down in addition to the constant speculation every window since then. It's also possible Pellegrini/Txiki/Soriano aren't interested in him anymore because of how the last transfer went down. He might have burned some bridges privately. I don't know.

All I know is that I think Isco fits the team construction better and is cheaper.

What is DeBruyne´s price tag?

at least 50 million pounds

but Isco is def the right answer
Before all this KDB business got serious I said that I thought Isco would be a better signing for City. Pellegrini and him have a history, but ever since he chose Madrid over City it makes me wonder if Pellegrini just has it out for him at this point.
Also, it's all over Twitter that apparently Mangala would no longer be involved in a loan deal for Otamendi. Thank God. He's looked great the first two matches.
