Vidal is sort of high-risk, high reward I'd agree....but after losing Bastian, Bayern's defense/midfield needs some intensity. The Schweine/Javi back midfield in 2012-13 kicked teams in the mouth (see Barça semis that year...admittedly with help from a better back line.)

Lahm is precise but doesn't scare anyone physically...Xabi has one good year left and is slow....I'll admit Rode is getting there....but there aren't any reliable "enforcers" aside from Boateng in Bayern's back half (Benatia, Badstuber, & Javi can't stay healthy).

While I don't like the fact that Bayern is getting away from its youth system in some ways, Vidal with the proper mindset could bring back some of that swagger to the midfield.

Two things I know: RM were the more confident team in the 2014 semis and Barça were the more confident team in 2015 semis. I'll admit both were also hitting their stride, but Bayern needs to regain some confidence in several ways.

City need to just stop valuing him so high

He's almost 30 and is injury prone the last couple years he isn't worth the 20
Million they want.

BREAKING NEWS

Newcastle United complete the signing of Aleksandar Mitrovic from Anderlecht.

The 20-year-old has signed a five-year deal at St James' Park, subject to a work permit being granted.

Chelsea will lodge an improved £34million bid for John Stones in an attempt to weaken Everton’s resolve, according to the Daily Express.

The Premier League champions have ignored the Toffees’ claim that Stones is not up for transfer at any price and are prepared to make the 21-year-old the most expensive defender in British football history – eclipsing the £30million Manchester United paid for Rio Ferdinand in 2002.

Chelsea have agreed to loan Patrick Bamford to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace for the entirety of next season, according to The Guardian.

Bamford impressed last year while out on loan to Middlesbrough, where he earned the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year as his 19 goals in 44 appearances propelled Boro into the play-off final.

The 21-year-old reportedly had a medical at Selhurst Park on Monday before teaming up with Alan Pardew’s side for pre-season preparations.

Bamford will follow former Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye in joining the Eagles this summer, once his move has been finalised.

super excited to see how this pans out

Wolfsburg have stood firm over Kevin de Bruyne’s future, insisting they will not be selling the Belgium international.

The 24-year-old has been linked with moves to Manchester City and Paris-Saint Germain this summer.

But Francisco Garcia, chief of the Wolfsburg supervisory board, insists they will not part with the former Chelsea midfielder.

“We don’t want to sell anyone, including Kevin,” Garcia told Kicker.

“Of course the player has to want to stay, but we’re not worried about that at the moment.”

Also rumors Juve want him.

Stop acting like City are wrong for trying to get the most money for their player.

Eurosport and various other outlets are claiming that the Otamendi deal will be finalized in "hours."

As of about 45 minutes ago.

Sky gives a shitload of money to each club in the EPL, making shite clubs like Crystal Palace and Stoke able to buy players that the club shouldn't be able to afford or attract.

Juventus have begun talks with Schalke over the signing of Julian Draxler, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Juventus Sporting Director Fabio Paratici has reportedly flown to Germany to meet Roger Wittmann, the agent of 21-year old midfielder.

According to BILD, Draxler has a release-clause of €45million, however, this only becomes active during the season.

The report adds that on June 30 the clause was disabled until the start of the season, allowing Draxler to move for any amount.

The Germany international was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal last year.

Its called being realistic. Dzeko cost them 28 million a few years ago no way he is even worth close to that.

Every team being reported in for him have come no where close to even 20 million.
