Their manager is also a PE teacher.

This team epitomizes the glory of CONCACAF.

Pretty embarrassing for Honduras. Even Canada and their 16-year old phenom put 4 goals past these guys. Jorge Luis Pinto could very well go from World Cup quarterfinalist to sacked from Honduras in less than 4 years.

It's actually been an entertaining game so far. Don't know how neither team has scored yet with all these chances.

I want Malouda to score just for the LOL factor.

Damn that was a hell of a strike by Chavarría for Nicaragua.

Yep, the top 2 3rd place teams advance to the quarterfinals. So the French Guiana debacle might prove to be a big deal.

The Gold Cup would be way more interesting if only 4 out of the 12 teams advanced to the knockout round. The group stage is a snoozefest, for the most part, and that would make each group stage game more important. But that'll never happen in CONCACAF. They only see dollar bills.

I'm gonna assume putting the V over your mouth means a very different thing in Panama

So far the professional darts that came on after the Jamaica-Mexico game has been more entertaining than the game.

Interesting how every group is 4-4-3-0

French Guiana continues to give no fricks.

Malouda in the stands today despite specifically being suspended and banned from being in the stadium.

I've heard some people speculate this is their way of political protest at France and FIFA. It's certainly gotten them attention. I, for one, think it's hilarious to see someone give a big middle finger to the calamity that is CONCACAF.

Mexico looking shaky so far. Curaçao has missed a few good chances.

Our opponents in Philly will be El Salvador, barring an epic collapse by Mexico. Panama already facing Costa Rica on our side of the bracket.

On the other side, it will likely be Mexico vs. Honduras and Canada vs. Jamaica.

In Phoenix, AZ. That stadium will be 80% annoying, obnoxious Mexican fans.

My husband and I are going. We splurged on first row seats on the half way line.

I was at a double header a few years ago in Dallas that had the USA vs. someone first and Mexico playing second. Way more Mexico fans, but the USMNT won 3-0 and Mexico lost.

We stayed for the Mexico game and got the frick out there ASAP after they went behind late. I laughed my arse off under my breath the whole way out of that stadium.
