here's some random person's opinion of the signing from r/gunners (for whatever that's worth):
and some comedy from the r/soccer take on this story:
quote:
He has been fantastic to watch for the U-21's for France. If he can stay healthy, there's real potential in this signing.
At the very least, this season's Carling Cup squad just got a little stronger.

"Wake me up, Yaya Sanogo, let's hope he's better than that cúnt from Togo"

Sonago has all the physical tools to develop into a top striker. Hopefully he stays healthy and continues to show improvement.

Wilshere and ex Spur Ardiles both singing the praises of Higuaín.
What´s going on with his signing?

should be soon. the word was they were waiting on RM to get a manager then things would start moving along. haven't really heard anything recently about it, but i'd imagine official word could come sometime this week or next. some dude on twitter swears up and down wednesday we're going to drop multiple signings, but that seems highly unlikely.

Our new signing Sanogo scored again for the French U20 team. Hope his good form continues.

i watched the first half. first time i had ever seen him play. terribly small sample size, but its easy to see why he's a big prospect. displayed excellent touch numerous times. couple of heavy touches, but never a truly poor touch. i was very impressed. held up the ball well with defenders all over him. got fouled a couple of times. set up a few very promising attacks. he's very quick and strong. attacked the box when the ball went wide, which was very encouraging as giroud and poldi tend to look for a pull back ball. look forward to seeing him in the Carling Cup.
if Real is really going after Illarramendi, we should definitely go after Kondogbia and pay whatever it takes. holy shite, that guy is impressive. if only Vieira had some position at our club. really feel like he would be helpful pursuing the next great, powerful French CM.

Vieira wouldn't help much. The player you are looking for is already at Juventus

I would take either Pogba or Kondogbia with open arms.
