Freitag Wiesn Fussball...great backheel by Tah who should get credit for the goal but it looks like it'll go to Lucho. 1-0 early

Agreed with your thoughts on BVB...a few of those squads since 2012 could/should have won the league, but many of those years they weren't even close due to sloppy, unnecessary results like last week's

Harry Kane...

104 matches, 100 goals...

That is all.

Bayern have won their first 14 competitive matches this season – a new record for a club from the big five European leagues; no club from the Bundesliga, Premier League, Ligue 1, LaLiga or Serie A had started a season with this many competitive wins before.

Honestly did not expect Vincent Kompany to be doing this well

He’s got them playing extremely consistently right now…they’ll miss Diaz at the Emirates for the next CL game but I’ve been impressed at how well the squad has fared without Musiala or Davies to this point.

Laimer is playing himself into a new deal for sure. Tah has helped stabilize Upa better than Minjae ever did.

(I’m sure they’ll now blow Saturday’s match at Union, but you can’t yet complain about anything this fall)

not to downplay Kompany’s influence, but this may be the best bayern roster since 12-13. cruising without Musiala is scary

If Bayern score two goals at The Emirates they are full blown favorites for all the marbles.

Interestingly Kompany was down the list of coaches they tried getting.

AND there was a lot of players they tried getting this latest transfer window that they did not get.

AND currently without Davies and Musiala.

The 19-20 squad that won during Covid was almost as good as 12-13, and all 3 teams under Pep were world class as well. I think this one is somehow still getting its legs in a few ways, but potential is there if they avoid injuries.

That would be more at home than they've given up in total all year, correct?

Yep. Arsenal have conceded three total goals in all competitions. Eight straight wins, eight clean sheets. Half of those matches had NO shots on target.

St Pauli is up on Bayern. Perhaps I should not have said anything.

Will Gio score on his old team?

2026 bump…

Bayern drop the derby to Augsburg at home after a 1-0 halftime lead. They looked gassed which shouldn’t happen just because of a couple Englischer Woche’s

Door probably isn’t open yet for other clubs but something to monitor…also how about those Sankt Pauli pyros?
