Aside from Sevilla and Roma, this is the best draw for City. It is against a team that they know they can beat 5-0.

City were up before the red

not sure what match he was watching.

Both teams had good chances but Liverpool blew theirs.

Yeah, I like City to win comfortably at the Etihad, so I just hope we can score a goal or two at Anfield before we come back home.

March 31 - Everton away
April 4 - Liverpool away
April 7 - United at home
April 10 - Liverpool at home

That is going to be an emotional 11 days.

Called it

Anfield will be absolutely rocking, while City will struggle to sell out the etihad. Liverpool fans will basically turn that into a home match making all the noise. On current form advantage City. But the grounds are the X factor.

Don’t want Liverpool anywhere near the final but I also want to see Pep crashing out with his half a billion in 18 months spent.

Maybe loosing to Sevilla was a blessing bc Bayern would completely undress United

In ten years, Man U will essentially be current day Liverpool. Great supporters at the match, in contention for trophies, but never wins anything meaningful.

Congrats on an occasional League Cup or FA Cup, but the days of glory are dead without SAF. Man U is just another club now that is way too obsessed with marketing and social media.

Luckily you can field an academy squad for the PL fixtures.

Liverpool doesn't win anything at all

United's history isn't just SAF...

Manchester City outstrip Manchester United by having TEN players in England youth squads

quote:

Manchester City have got TEN players in the England youth squads … to Manchester United 's one.

The Blues , and Chelsea, who have dominated youth football between them in recent years, supply 22 of the 85 players called up by the FA for international duty with the under-18, under-19, under-20 and under-21 squads.

But, but, but those players will never make it in the City first team.

The academy is gaining serious traction. In the UEFA Youth League Semis, the U16s just one the Premier League Cup, starting to see a few more guys here and there in the match day squad. Baby steps, but steps nonetheless.

Yet none of them make the first team at City

The best youth player in the England set up left City for Dortmund

literally your academy is for show

whats the point in having it, if there is no path to the first team.

How about we compare youth academy grads playing in the first team.

McBro just hit me up, he wants to post in here so bad

Your track record pre take over was actually pretty good.

Foden, Tosin, Garcia, Diaz. They are all young and they are all starting to get more minutes. They will get even more as we coast through the remainder of the premier league season.

If a player is good enough, there is a path to the first team. It might not be as quick as the player would like, but there is a path.

Is he banned or something? I was going to try to quit posting on TD. Made it from January 1 to a couple of days ago, so I feel like I missed a bunch.
