I have never seen that, funny though. The guy in the scarf is hilarious however the woman seems like a dunce saying this is for the champion league title as if no one else in the room realizes it.

Why did Meireles start this game? To me, he is garbage. are we now playing a 4-1-4-1??? Was Marin even with them team? We will get crushed if we play that scheme against city.

I know a couple of Pool guys that back him but he was definitely terrible for Chelsea last year.

I'm worried that no one, including RDM, is really sure what to do or what formation we should be using with this team. I certainly couldn't put together a first XI with any confidence right now.

Yall still have Mata to come back. Yall are changing up a few positions this season. It will take a little time for RDM and the players to figure it out.

I thought he had a season very similar Bosingwa. Just not as shitty. He played well down the stretch in UCL. If he stops ripping shots from 40 out that sail over the goal maybe he'll have more success.

Absolutely not. I'm at a loss. Besides the fact that we'll have four at the back. But still don't know who the RB will be

If we had to play a real match today my lineup would probably look something like this...

Cech
Ivan Cahill Terry Cole
(Mikel/Essien) Lampard (with the freedom to advance)
Ramires Hazard Mata
Torres

Definitely still need to sign a RB and another solid striker.

Ivanovic is surely starting RB. Paulo probably back up for now though Bertrand played that spot in the Olympics.

Did y'all see Ashley Cole's tweet yesterday? "Arsenal fans get over it, I left I won #ihaveastaronmyshirtnow"

I do like the 4-2-3-1 a lot, especially with Torres by himself up there. That's how he thrived at Liverpool, as a lone striker.

I'm also a big fan of Ivanovic at RB, but idk if he's a permanent solution.

What? He is more than fine there. It's the lack of back up that concerns me.

I think Ivan is fine there I just don't know if that's what he wants to be locked into. I think he'd much prefer to be in the middle but that is easily our strongest and deepest position.

Thats why I dont understand why yall arent looking buy a defensive midfielder. Mikel is just another cb when he plays.

Not gonna happen at Chelsea. At least while we have Terry, Luiz and Cahill. I also keep forgetting we have Bertrand and although he's young, I think he'll get some valuable time this year.

We'd have to sell somebody we already have Mikel, Essien, and Romeu and I expect Lampard to see some time in a similar role this year like he did toward the end of the CL run last year.

I guess this is more what I meant Bho. But you're right, he's just not gonna see much time in the middle wit what we have now.

And I also thought about Bertrand, but always pictured him to be the next Cashley on the left side. I like his potential a lot, but don't know how he feels on that side of the pitch.

Also, maybe I've missed it, but I havent heard much talk about a new holding midfielder. Essien hasnt been his normal self in a while, but he can play there, Mikel has looked good recently, as Frank ages he can play there and hell, Raul could do it as well

Yep, I read that today and the RB from Marseille appears to be close as well. At least according to WAGNH.

I can't figure out why more clubs aren't interested in Victor. Kid's a baller and we're going to steal him for 8mil.
