Why did US Soccer cancel his program? I’ve yet to see a good explanation. He’s done wonders for Japanese soccer.
I know there are some clowns in high positions of the USSF, but surely even they can’t be that shortsighted. Was it just the recent leadership change?

I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides as to what was being offered. I think the grant he applied for was geared toward quick improvements. His program was going to take some time to get up and running.
