Any one got a link to any of the fighting in the stands after? Was that Nunez?
Posted on 7/10/24 at 9:16 pm to BigPerm30
It was him plus probably 6-10 more Uruguay players in the stands.
Posted on 7/10/24 at 9:24 pm to BigPerm30
It’s all over Twitter. It was definitely him.

Malice at the house Jake Delhomme built.

I’m assuming they’ll be a big FIFA suspension?
Posted on 7/10/24 at 9:33 pm to BigPerm30
I’ve been trying to figure that out too. I’m not sure.

Missed everything else as well.

In case you missed it, I hate Nunez. He ruined my massive futures bet on Uruguay.
hope he gets suspended from international play for 10-15 games and Uruguay is banned from the 2026 WC for that bs last night. Chile got banned from the 94 WC for less.

He claims his family was being attacked and people are blaming the stadium for inadequate security. They may consider that to be mitigating circumstance so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not too severe of a punishment

There were multiple police/security in the video.

I’m just relaying what the team was saying.

Ah just read up on that and that changes things a bit. And yeah that security detail was laughable. None of them did anything. Feel like this has been a bit of a black eye for the Copa. Copa Centenario was awesome and had some good matches. This whole tournament has been plagued by poor refs and hacking etc.

If you remember the last Copa the same happened to Argentine players’ families.

I'm highly skeptical that's how it went down. So he tried to throw a chair from the field level into an area where his family was?

I don’t remember that at all. Which fanbase attacked the Argentine families?
