Of dear poor WBA

They miss a sitter to put the match away late 2-0

To have those sneaky foxes pull level in stoppage time

What a gut punch

Just looking at the table I had no idea Southampton and tractor town have been so bad

How much more in tMud can Norwich be? Twice blew a one-goal lead at Watford to ultimately lose 3-2 over the weekend to a 78th minute Tom Ince of all people goal.

Ipswich 1
Stoke 0

Millwall 1
Derby 1

Bristol City 2
Leicester 2

Hull 2
Wrexham 0

Millwall remain one point ahead of Ipswich in 3rd place and 4 points behind Middlesbrough for 2nd place. Stoke have been terrible the last few weeks and aren't far from mid-table.

As I knew, Charlton have really dropped off. But there aren't many points between 16th/17th or so and just outside the playoff spots.

Millwall...been to the New Den a few times over the years. Have a soft spot for Rangers in Scotland given my Protestant British heritage. Looking to see Bristol Rovers and AFC Wimbledon in late August when I'm back in the UK given my travel itinerary. I don't pretend to be a die-hard like I am with the Gamecocks, but I genuinely enjoy lower league football much more than the Premier League.

Buddy of mine in college was from Eltham in southeast London. Split between Millwall and Charlton. I'd always been an Anglophile, but he turned me on to English football and his family were all Millwall. The spark of the Millwall vs. West Ham derby is gone. You had the hooligan aspect. That's been legislated out of the sport. You had the demographic and geographic elements. There are almost no white British left in Newham (West Ham) anymore and the white British population in South Bermondsey (Millwall) is quickly vanishing. All of the true old school fans of both clubs have been exiled to Essex or Kent.

Thanks for sharing. Thats cool - yeah the majority of London districts are no longer predominately white British.

Have you done ancestry at all? I’m fascinated with my results being predominately Protestant British origin too but I can’t trace to any one region alone.

I also prefer Rangers in Scotland for that reason as well. And I guess that’d be Hearts too.

My dad's family is English and Welsh. The English part is from Yorkshire and Westmorland (now part of Cumbria). The Welsh part is from Conwy in North Wales. My mom's family were French Huguenots who settled in present-day Williamsburg and Clarendon Counties in the 1690's.

I have only been able to trace some locations in my tree but nothing real concrete aside from that. Some towns in Northamptonshire and Wiltshire, and scatterings elsewhere.

My ancestry results updated recently and with their breaking down of England further I got 35% Southeastern England & NW Europe and 13% West Midlands (but their 'West Midlands' is really all the Midlands if you look at their map and what they call 'East Midlands' really looks like Yorkshire and surrounding areas).

I also got 29% Central Scotland & Northern Ireland which I assume is Ulster-Scots, Scots Irish, whatever you want to call it.
