I like the black and gold that both of the new Birmingham professional teams are using.

I'm starting to think we aren't going to have a full roster to start the season.

shite, we're playing Philly in a friendly right now, and we have to borrow players from Bethlehem Steel to have enough subs.

Yeah. There's 14 players listed on the team's roster on the website.

They are almost out of international slots, so the rest should be domestic signings.

They should try to get JJ Williams, a Montgomery kid, on loan from Columbus since they don't have a USL affiliate. I think his girlfriend/fiancée is still in the Montgomery area.

So are you going to have to borrow some of our players for the game on the 16th?

Who all is going to the game this Saturday against Nashville? I’m planning a double header with the Iron at 1:00 and the Legion at 4:00!

Michael Salazar, Hoffman, and Prosper Kasim scored for us in a 3-1 closed door scrimmage win against Chattanooga Red Wolves.

Salazar has not yet been announced as a player by the club. He was with Montreal Impact last year but didn't play.

Glad to see another signing. After seeing them struggle to get a full roster, I'm glad I didn't get season tickets.

It was still fun to get out there and see some professional soccer in Birmingham. Decent crowd for a season ticket only event (minus what was given away to others). Decent turnout to the tailgate and even had a few folks from Nashville show up there. All in all, I think it was a very successful day for Birmingham given that it was a pre-season friendly.
