that was a while back...he's 'supposed' to be back by the fifth but it seems like it'll be a little longer than that.
This stays here but I just got an email that said "he had to go". Guaranteed there was something bad behind the scenes there.

i get that you have to kiss arse when you do your interviews and all, but jesus just a little perspective wouldn't kill anyone.

The parting shot was unnecessary.
Something like "I was sad to leave Liverpool. It was a great place to spend three years. However, this is a new opportunity to play with a World Class club." would've sufficed IMO.
How you holding up, big man? I know you loved you some Nando.

exactly. be like the other classy players. you'll miss the fans and the club, but are excited for new oppurtunities. that really was unnecessary. and classless.

it's not bad because two quality strikers are coming in and I really think we'll be better off for it.
That said, it's the first time I've EVER cared about a player leaving a team of mine. It's weird.

Pool will be better off without Nando, I agree.
Let Gerrard go on being the face of the club. Probably works better with an Englishman carrying the torch for LFC anyway.
Where does this leave Kuyt though? With the squad rotation I imagine he'll be number 3 in the striking pecking order?

positive thinking. good for you. good luck rest of the season.
i think i'd honestly cry if ramos or higuain left madrid. hell, i did when guti and raul did. but i'm a chick, so...

the funny thing about him is that he played this exact same game twice, just in the end didn't sign with them. So it makes you wonder...

depends on formation I guess but he always seems to get himself included.

It was classless to burn his jersey and the club's crest, IMO.

Suarez is most comfortable on the right, so Kuyt will have to battle to play.

it's been confirmed that at least one of the burners is an evertonian. There's been a few occasions where Sky has paid people and provided the jersey.
If there were any liverpool fans doing it, then I agree. Not cause it was Torres, just cause it was a Liverpool shirt.

i hope you're right. b/c that's horrible.

I think he's actually most comfortable playing just off the main striker. Side doesn't matter, he's pretty fluid at Ajax

Yeah, but the guys who did that aren't paid and in the public media. They represent a small fraction of fans, probably. Yeah, Pool fans are pissed, and maybe some of them are burning shite. But I'm pretty sure none of their employees will be doing that.
Torres should have kept his mouth shut. I don't like Pool or Chelsea particularly, but I kinda hope Liverpool sticks it to them this weekend. I like Dalglish. Scotland FTW.

I'll have a stroke if Torres scores.

4-2-3-1
Meireles and Lucas behind Kuyt - Gerrard - Suarez behind Carrol. Not too shabby. Johnson inverted on the left with Kuyt, who defends well. Still some defensive concerns, but that's nice going forward. Still think Joe Cole can thrive behind a big forward as well. He's a number 10, not a winger.
