To be honest, I thoroughly dislike almost all these "new school" badges with the gray shadows and severe lines, etc. Kind of like Nichols State's updated one a couple years ago.
They're everywhere in college sports, minor league hockey, and I guess it's bleeding into 100+ year-old football clubs. :(
