I'm late but I'm gonna vent in here instead of making a new thread
People will say the game was boring but I think Croatia had a game plan to not give Ronaldo space and by doing so it stunted our attack a little. But what made it worse was that Portugal were playing for a draw and were fouling like crazy disrupting Croatians passing and attack. 28 fricking fouls. And like one yellow. Ref should have showed more yellows to prevent stupid tackles.
Croatia deserved to win and its fricking bullshite that the best team in the euros just lost to this shite Portugal team. They didn't do shite at all this game or the three group games. Is anyone even reading. They got out the groups with 3 draws. Draw this game and then after a great chance missed by vidya and a shot off the cross bar they counter and score with the first shot on target. Then after that Croatia are still attacking and vidya has another great chance but misses. They got fricking lucky and people are acting like they are good.
Croatia didn't play their best, a lot of poor passing, but it's bullshite that they get punished for it while Portugal were proper shite yet walk away Victorious and thinking they are some great team. They got fricking lucky.

I legit think Croatia would have made the finals (due to the bracket), but they off today. They were way too conservative, Modric was not magic, and neither team deserved to win.

Yeah that was the worst they played and Modric was not his usual but you can't say Croatia didn't do enough to win. They were ahead in every stat. Except fouls and offside. Had way more shots yet non on goal and that's just unlucky. Like perisic hitting post.

I agree they outplayed Portugal, but I do not feel like Croatia were robbed. They were bad as well. At the end of the day, it is their fault they could not put any chances on frame until the end.

It was actually a very tame melt. The anger management classes have helped and like the other guy said we didn't play our best so I understand it a little but it's just stupid how we are out and Portugal advance
Had they scored in regulation the melt wouldn't have happened. We didn't do enough then. ET is when I felt like we really started putting it on

This team is a huge disappointment. They were in 2008 and they are now. Huge performances in the groups stages, only to piss them off against inferior trash like Turkey and Portugal. If you're telling me that bleeding vagina Ronaldo, one guy, ended up changing your whole style of play to the point you couldn't do anything with 60% possession for 120 minutes then you have no business in this tournament. Any top team would have taken that shite team to the shed, yet Croatia dilly dally's around for 118 minutes and gives up a goal.
