Sterling is going to be good under Pep. Silva and De Bruyne are going to be incredible in this system.

I expect some new fullbacks though because I don't know how Sagna and Clichy will do when they're expected to play midfield most of the game.

He did but Defoe has been a pain in his arse so far

He's only got to get it right once, while the defender has to get it right every time.

I think so too. He's the perfect CB for Pep. He just needs to not overthink things and try to do too much. He really struggled with that at Everton last season

If he stops being accident prone he will be very good. Second most expensive defender in the world good? No but he will be solid.

I don't think being in the top five is out of the question. He's with Pep and Kompany to learn and he's only 22.

And Chelsea, Mourinho also valued him somewhat close to what City spent, it's not like City just randomly made a figure.

It's interesting to me, probably not to everyone else, to watch the City players trying to adapt to the system. They're doing pretty well but you can still notice the "oh shite" moments when they start to sprint to the correct area.

Gael Clichy looks like a post apocalyptic character that Will Smith would play

I will say this, I've never seen City have this much possession before.

Once City starts to play with more pace like Bayern did it will get interesting bc in this league the speed is there to hit them back on the counter.
