What's really funny is that people still rate Jordan Henderson
He's played well over the last three games. It's just been a long, long time since 13/14.

Everybody loves to shite on him but refuses to give him props when he plays well.
I gave him his props for that goal. But he was at fault big time for the Chelsea goal.
Most people know he is average and when Liverpool fans get defensive over it ( mostly on reddit) they just say look at his passing stats. Which is extremely misleading b/c those stats are padded with a bunch of 3 to 5 yards balls or back passes.

He was partly at fault for the goal. I'd say Lallana and Matip also had a bit of fault for the goal as well. Just so happens those were probably 3 of our best players last night. It happens.
And I wasn't talking about his passing, which I still think has been better than you give him credit for. Moreso he's been a lot better at cleaning up, stopping counters, and helping us keep the ball in the opposition's third. Seriously, he's been one of the best players on the pitch the past 2 weeks.
I understand he's not world class and he probably will never be. But at the same time, he's one of those types of players that is good to keep a team ticking and that you need to keep balance.

His work rate and commitment to make tackles will always be there. But a club like Liverpool should have a better quality player as their captain.

That's fair, but I still say the armband stuff is overplayed IMO
He can be a little bit of a shithead at times, but he's good a leader. And we have the luxury of a lot of guys that are leaders and have good chemistry so they really seem to rally together. But we don't have a Gerrard anymore and personally, I hope we don't feel obliged to have to find "the next Gerrard." We have a good thing going and a strong team and core that plays well together.
