Are you comparing Croatia and 2004 Greece? That's a terrible comparison. Croatia has more than a few players on top clubs like Real, Barcelona, Juventus, and Inter. Make no mistake -- Croatia is one of the most talented teams in the tournament. They are more talented than England.

Fine, point granted. But Croatia is a very talented team. I'll admit they have been stuck in neutral during the knockout rounds. But that could change in a heartbeat.

Both Croatia and England had semifinal potential entering the tournament - the brackets fell favorably. I’m sure most had Spain-Germany on this side or maybe Argentintia-Germany.
Croatia just hasn’t looked all that great since group stages but they’ve played bunkering teams. They’re still a very good team with semifinal talent but have not played to potential last two games.
