fricking WONDO is starting?
He may have missed that sitter, but otherwise he played brilliantly. That pass to Bradley was beautiful unselfish play.

We have no good strikers? The frick if I know. I think Juan has tried, has moved ok off the ball, etc., but he's just not ready. My memories of him this tournament mostly revolve around him dribbling into traffic and losing the ball.
Wondo may never be ready though. Jozy has been ok. Even though he didn't play well against Panama he did tee Wondo up off a nice run. I'd much rather go 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-2-3-1, some thing along those lines.

LOL, that's probably a bit much. The lay off was good play.

If he doesn't play well today, he isn't good enough.
But He's a goal machine in MLS.

I like the idea of starting Wondo. Let him get into a rhythm and get comfortable. I think we'll need him if we're going to win this tournament.

I thought for a second Guadeloupe's national anthem was All You Need Is Love.

Captain America, Howard, and baby Bradley were the only ones singing the national anthem. I fricking hate how our boys never sing along whether it be international soccer or other teams at the Olympics.
Quit being fricking terrorists and belt it out. I don't want any communists playing for my team.

I think we'll need to try to pass Messi off as Bornstein.

I'd get Jones out of there, but I like this lineup otherwise. Wondo deserves a chance to get comfortable, and Juan works better as a sub.
I'd give this a 7/10 lineup wise.

Stewie,
I've got data that suggests that Jamaica is a better matchup.
Do you want me to shoot that to you for the site tomorrow?

Does anyone else think we need to play in smaller more intimate stadiums? This place is rocking way more than I heard at the bigger venues.

Yes. Definitely do that. I still have a Deep End of the Pool to post, as well. I'll get that up

Totally agree. Sounds pretty crazy.
