I did not know the game was so big here where they show friendly matches that are not by USA
it's not big enough for random friendlies throughout the year to show up on the abc family of networks. you can catch mexico friendlies on one of the mexican channels, or mexican channels based in the us, that are pretty readily available, but i'm sure that espn is just throwing that up there to drum up interest for the world cup.
certain american satellite/digital cable channels that require subscriptions show a ton of games from all over the world throughout the year including a bunch of random friendlies. hell, i remember even being able to catch many x wc team versus amateur team friendlies that always show up before the world cup in 2006.

i believe it is interesting how certain people learn to follow teams in europe. I just hate when people pick teams because they are successful. Of course I realize in america your futbol is not on par at least the club level with europe but it is exciting how interested you paople are for the game.

That second goal was pretty awesome, I'll give them that. I stand by what I say though, Spain will be knocked out by a defend/counter team and get shut out in doing so.

ha, well as i've only been following 4 years, i'm def not a "glory hunter" so to speak. just a bandwagonner who happens to like a team with many trophies b/c they have pretty boys
(at least that's what drew me to watch in the beginning)

Silva, Alonso, Iniesta, Xavi, Cecs, Pedro
It's embarrassing how deep they are in the midfield.

When a player the quality of Arteta can't get a whiff of the Spanish side it is embarrassing how deep they are.
