What do we think the cringe level of the name will be on a scale from Inter Miami to Real Salt Lake?

Original Steamers fan checking in.

But I doubt they go that route.

That place is in the middle of fricking no where.

The support for the USL club in Charlotte is shite. By watching the last game I think the NSC fans that traveled there was about half the size of their "supporters section."

Charlotte has that Dave Tepper money but you’re right it’s a terrible sports town.

It’s funny that the guy that owns the team doesn’t even live there

Charlotte had a lot potential 15years ago but it’s all stale, safe, corporate and chains galore. Nothing to write home about.

I stayed at the Hilton Charlotte City Center. It was a good location since I didn't drive anyway and I could walk to a lot of places. There was this alley up Church Street that had some neat bars. The Mint Museum and the Bechtler was cool. Found a pretty good Thai place. I will say Bank Of America Stadium looks nicer than Nissan Stadium.

It’s a decent city
I’m a bit harsh.
I guess since I’m from there (well Weddington but you get it) and now I live in the #1 city

But for a mid/late 20 year old in finance. I wanted better

As Scott Gallagher peeps will have part in team.

Was just about to ask about that.

SGSL (run by Pat Berry of WWT and part owner of the new team) will probably play a part for the new teams academy in some way. Scott Gallagher is already a national academy team on the boys side.

I'm curious what Sporting will do as they already have a satellite academy club in STL with a real nice complex. Do they keep their support there or remove it, as it's a little weird to have a different teams academy in the same town.

Apples to Oranges

That’s like United and City both having an academy in Manchester

KC having an academy in STL is like Liverpool having on in Manchester

Thought it was like 40 miles
