I'm holding off for the 3rd jersey unveiling. But that home shirt is some sexy. It'll be hard to top it.

Bale apparently doesn't even talk to AVB these days. Not good.
[link=(REAL QUOTES)]LINK[/link]
We are so fricked. At least AVB and Levy are working their asses off to give us a respectable squad. Call me crazy, but I think we can compete without him if we can add a couple more players. We have trimmed a lot of fat off during this transfer window and added tons of muscle.
ETA: In terms of keeping Bale, we are fricked. Like I said, I think we are still moving in the right direction with or without Bale.

Sandro is hilarious.
I'm glad we have Sandro to help Paulinho fit in.

I read that article
If Bale does leave, another striker becomes a must! I would also like to see another central defender

Well I think we are going to get both of those. Rumor that we are close to signing Pablo Osvaldo from Roma. Solid striker, and he's got swag.
There has also been rumors of signing his Roma teammate Erik Lamela. I've seen lots of Willian rumors (I'd love another Brazilian), and he would replace Huddlestone's hair.
I've also seen rumors about Ajax's Christian Eriksen. Clearly, we are going hard after several players. I think Levy and AVB know that Bale is gone. I started to get suspicious early on in the window when Levy was actually signing players.
As far as a center back goes, I have seen rumors about Toby Alderweireld. He's Belgian, which would add to our trio and give us the potential to have a Belgian central defense with Toby and of course Jan. Also, this guy just looks like a Spurs player (no homo).

I like Willian, and would be pumped if we got Erikson.
I don't know much about Alderweireld.

Erikson may not happen. Rumors are he will only leave Ajax for a team playing UCL ball. He has some interest from Germany and Italy as well as Spurs and Liverpool.

Erikson would be good but he isn't really needed. Sign a CB, and a striker, then sell either Adebeyor or Defoe.
I'm seeing reports that we are close to signing Pablo Osvaldo and we have agreed a fee for Parker with QPR.

DEFINITELY need a CB. A striker would be desirable as well.
Where is Osvaldo playing now?

This is what the Guardian has listed as the projected starting lineups for Sunday. This is a strong team even without Bale, VERTONGHEN, and Sandro

This is a cool season review to get you pumped for Sunday: Tottenham Season Review
I forgot how hot Defoe started the season. And it's pretty awesome seeing all of Bale's ridiculous goals

´Sup, Spurrians. Good luck this season.
As per the illustration of your projected first XI, when Holtby sees playing time, for whom would it be?

Holtby will be battling Sigurdsson for the starting role. I'm looking forward to seeing how much he improves after having half a year in the EPL under his belt

Depending on the rest of the transfer window, I'm not sure that either will remain a starter.

That's true. I think siggy could do really well in the center where he is most comfortable. His versatility allowed him to get playing time on the wing last year, but the CAM position is his bread and butter. I really like Holtby and siggurdson I hope they both get a fair shot at that spot

Same here. I was pumped when we got both. I just think that we may get another striker before the end of the transfer window which may limit the chances for mids to get on the field.
