No. Unless they get Cesc paired with Silva and De Jong as their central mid field. Pool, Arsenal, ManU and Chelsea will all be good. The depth of the EPL is pretty astounding. Even Spurs and Everton will be fielding very competitive squads.

Did you see the graph that Caplewood posted in the Liverpool thread? Pretty interesting stuff. Im shocked at how low City and Tottenham are.

I did. And Arsenal went undefeated except for the Bolton fiasco.

Too many draws. If Pool and Arsenal spend wisely this summer they will be the two to beat IMO.

Also, I saw an interesting graph earlier today. It was composed of all of the purchases/sells Rafa had at Liverpool. After adding up all of the losses/gains on sold players, Liverpool has made over 100M on his investments.

Torres has to be atleast 25% right? Buying Suarez and Mierles was genius IMO.

I sure am excited for next season. A few key purchases, and I think we end up in the CL.

Torres and Alonso were the big ones. Together they combined for over half of the profits.

He is a better player than Torres. He gets others involved and hustles his arse off. Your new owner knows how to run a franchise.

This isn't the ot, SFP can't slip in his mislead uninformed opinions on the soccer board without getting called out on it.

ibra has done really well in the italian league and hasn't looked amazing outside of it

remember, his value was 40M AND ETO'O. has he come close to living up to that?

Of course not. But he is still a more influential player than Ade. Every team he has been on for the last sieht seasons has won the league. Coincidence? Perhaps.

I agree. But, Ibra's stats are far superior. He was also suspended for three matches.

comparing him to ade was unfair, but i did it based out of attitude and play

ibra is the most talented/formed striker in the world. he should be the best striker, pretty much, every year

His numbers back it up. He is a freak in all measures of the word.

He might be if he can ever settle down and get comfortable at a club.

You still fail.
