Every time parkhurst got the ball on the wing I was yelling for him to cross it. Then he did and I wished he hadn't. He can't get it past the first defender. I actually thought about Bornstein without getting physically sick for the first time tonight.

Zero quality in that midfield. Y'all can bitch at JK all y'all want, but at the end of the day, I'm not sure Xavi would have helped our performance.
Well, Beckerdreads did play...

At least we scored.
Herc and Howard looked like they cared.
That's all I got. I've got 98 negatives, trust me.
3 straight WCQ goals from FKs. Howard has tourette's don't confuse that for caring. Hurc gonna Hurc.....wow, he ran around. The performance tonight was PATHETIC. Our goal was FIFA glitchy. Jamaica is better at POLO than SOCCER!!!!!!!!!!!

That formation was a disaster. I didn't get to watch the game but I'm not surprised with the result

The highlight of the night was when jones managed to whiff, foul the other team, and hurt himself in the span of 3 seconds.
I am so fricking sick of him. He plays like a little bitch. I've never seen someone get "hurt" so much in one game... He's terrible with the ball at his feet, a bad passer, worse finisher, and sub par defender. The only thing he's good at is getting carded.

Are we going to make it out of the fricking 3rd round of qualification? Sheet sons.

Danny Williams came on and played in his natural position, but he was terrible.

So did Shea. And he was terrible as well.

He's the one that called them in. He's been here a year and these are the players he has chosen to rely on. It's inexplicable.
Can you imagine using that kind of midfield in the World Cup?

We really could have used experienced defenders on the road in CONCACAF.
If only we had some of those.
Or some speed to just bunker and counter on the road against Jamaica.
If only we had some of that.
Or a creative presence in the center of the field.
Man, if the US had a player like that.
Oh well.... I guess we'll have to make due with Kyle Beckerman, Michael Parkhurst, Danny Williams, Michael Orozco Fiscal *and* Sean Johnson.

Interesting. Sounds like everyone was terrible though.

Columbus on Tuesday night is a must-win if we want to go to Brazil, I think. No, not in a mathematical sense, but in a momentum sense. Can't limp into the last two with just 4 or 5 points.

We've had worse performances away in CONCACAF during the last WC Qualifying cycle.

Give Klinsmann until the 11th.

Toward the end we just started lobbing it towards the 18 every time we got the ball. It was like junior high.
Then, johnson thought it would be cool to shoot from 40 yards.
Is this real life?

He didn't, and you're trying way too hard. Go drink some NyQuil or something.

The omission of Kljestan is now INCREDIBLY glaring. I don't hate Beckerman, but when you have a player available in the same position, who's playing Champions League football, you might consider calling him up.
As for Freddy Adu...hell no.

And the Jones got in a fight with the ref. And then he got a card.
And then we spent two and a half minutes trying to play out of our own half and failing in stoppage time.

You're exactly right, Sheep. No idea what JK is thinking these days.
You're the man to answer the question: was that the worst US midfield in the last 15 years in a game that mattered?
