What’s with FOX pushing female announcers at the Men’s World Cup?

Look, I get it if it’s the women’s World Cup.
But for fricks sake can we get Michael Ballack back instead of some broad that played for England in the early 90s?
The men’s and women’s games are completely different. Let’s have someone speak who’s been there.

I don’t mind the job Kelley Smith as done thus far as a pundit.
But the match commentators have not been good.
It’s not like they aren’t knowledgeable, but it’s like they went out and found two girls on Twitter who knew shite about soccer and threw them in the booth a month ago.
They aren’t polished at all.

Everybody in the studio but the host, Abdo, Fiore, and Lalas are borrowed from BBC and ITV.

all the guys they have calling the games are awful anyway so it doesnt really matter if they have her calling a game instead of one of them
