And is it all people who played in HS or so, or is it like co-ed softball which is just a zoo?

coed is somewhat of a zoo. there are two teams that several players have never even played before. one is a church group or something that just wanted to come out and have some fun. then there is another coed team that has a couple of old lsu girls players on it. so it really just depends.

and brand new - we generally go to georges on sundays after games. jason was talking about getting some food and stuff up there (think bar food - wings and shite) but i don't really know where he is going to put a fryer in there. plus, i really don't want to be smelling a ton of fried food while i'm playing.

i'm pretty sure they had the heater on in there tonight bc it was hot as balls. i could barely fricking breathe.....miserable. i'm also kind of wondering if they are going to turn on the air in there in the summer.....i can only imagine how hot that place is going to get.

Next season starts in March, at least for the Mens 30+ league.

Are most of the teams from the Baton Rouge area or are they from all over? What days and times are the games played?
I had a team that played at Riverside in Harahan but the games were too late on Wednesday nights. Sometimes I wouldn't get home until 130 in the morning. I don't think I could do that anymore. Too old and fragile.

most of the teams are from BR, but I have a chick on my team that comes in from NOLA.

womens open is on Monday nights, mens premier is on Tuesday nights, mens over 30 on wednesday nights, mens open on thursday nights, and coed on friday nights. the mens games start at like 6 and go as late as 11 i think. coed starts at 6 with the last game starting at 11 as well. it can end up being a pretty late night is you have one of the last games, or if you just want to hang around and drink afterward

Thanks, for the info. We would come from Lafourche and Terrebonne, so that made it a 1 hour drive to and fro. I would have a case of beer iced down for the ride home. I guess I will have to open my own indoor facility close to here, so I can make it to work in the morning.
