I can't say I love playing thru a 38 year old who has been injured for the last 2 months, but Vlatko's got his own plan.

I did not want to play Sweden. I'm still annoyed with them from the Brazil Olympics a few years back. Sweden will be tough as nails to beat. Unsure we can.

Not on him. This is what happens when you have a group of entitled players. Carli Lloyd biting her tongue. So washed. I enjoy seeing it though. Captain America Rapinoe has led us so well. “The bear Horan” it’s laughable at this point. We can’t out athlete the world anymore. We have zero cohesiveness and a bunch of selfish players.

We miss Becky's leadership a lot out there, and then our midfield has been a disaster.
Our formation is horrible.
Our subs are bad. The fact that Rapinoe is seeing the field is a joke. We have a possible line up that includes Lynn Williams and Alyssa Thompson to break a team down late in a game with their speed and we're putting in a 38 year old.

Dunn, Horan, Rapinoe, Morgan (and smith) shouldn’t see the field. The old broads are so slow, I just don’t buy they’re the best we have right now, and Dunn looks like a Rec player who just started playing soccer.

Smith hasn't been good, but she should be playing up top, not on the left with no one supporting her.

No shot Vlatko wanted to put rapinoe in, but I guarantee he felt obligated too. That’s the major problem with this team. Morgan’s interview was laughable. Acting like they were just unlucky to not score when they were thoroughly dominated in the midfield and deserved to lose. Portugal had the much better chances. Maybe have some self awareness and say we weren’t good enough and need to make a change and figure it out.
