So many fans are mad at Carli… but guess what, she’s right.
It’s what I said before the tournament. A lot of people feel like they can’t criticize women’s sports teams. But if you want it to be on the same level as men’s sports and want it to be treated the same way, you have to take criticism when it’s due.

100%. I’m just glad she called out the entitlement and complacency. Maybe fox and Vegas will realize we aren’t that good. Fading the USA against the spread was 3/3 in the group. That should tell you something. But Atleast we get the super hero rapinoe commercial slammed down our throat while other countries actually focus on playing as a team.

I’m fine with a couple changes, but it allows Dunn to play much higher and puts Smith up top.

I like it but I don’t think the lineup or formation matters with this team. They don’t gel. A very poor comparison is watching the mls allstars get crushed by whatever club team they play. We play for ourselves while the other teams play for their badge.

Good example was when Rapinoe ran 35 yards up the pitch and no one followed her and then it just puts one person out of position.
We just miss Carli, Becky, and Sam so badly.
But we still have people like Julie, Lindsay, Crystal, and Alex that have been here before and should be leaders for the team. That’s the sort of thing I don’t get.
It’s so funny because so much of the fanbase is that same way. Mad at people calling out the US team instead of being upset with the actual players on the pitch.

Accountability. Something none of these players have. O’haras interview basically summed that up.

Heather O’Reilly has called out the team before. When they lost to Germany this year she was pretty harsh on the culture and the performance.

Complacency. We have a bunch of players that think they are owed a World Cup because of what the players did before them. It’s become the American way and it’s why I hope these broads get humbled. Dancing and celebrating after getting outclassed. It’s embarrassing. Captain America rapinoe commercial getting rammed down our throats is why no one takes this seriously. Our federation is an absolute joke.
