iTunes For Windows Does Not See/Recognize My iPhone

I've restarted both my computer and iPhone several times, but for some reason, my PC refuses to "see" or recognize my iPhone. In the past when it has seen my phone, it would appear below my iTunes library on the left side of the open iTunes window. I have music on my PC I'd like to transfer to my phone, but I'm obviously failing so far.
I called Apple support, and a tech there had me change USB cables and USB ports on my computer to no avail. In addition, she had me reset my location and privacy settings on my phone, but again, nothing.
The call concluded with the tech suggesting that I make an appointment at the Apple Store, and to bring both my desktop PC and iPhone. As I really don't want to take apart and pack all that stuff, does anyone have an idea or suggestion of a setting or control panel item to check/change, some other thing I might attempt, etc?
I offer my sincere thanks if anyone can offer a piece of information that evaded the "trained" Apple technician.

I hope you don't pay for Grok to scrape Reddit to tell you stuff like this.
