PSA: iPhone service guide.

Wife’s phone didn’t work good this morning so I had to learn all about phone deals before just washing the damn mic holes out and having it work fine again. Thought I’d share. Maybe if someone gets a good deal then my whole morning isn’t wasted.
1. Cricket. Best if you’re not already on there. $50 iPhone16e for 2 month commitment. Unlocks in 6 months upon request. Need be away from cricket 2 years to score iPhone deal.
2. Metro. 2nd best. $100 iPhone16e with three month commitment. Unlocks in 12 months.
3. Total. Best deal for current customers. Highest iPhone16e discounted price at $200-300 depending on plan. But $300 may apply to almost anyone. 3 month commitment. Automatically unlocks in 60 days. Don’t even have to ask. Do your prepaid 3 months and move to visible.
4. Visible. Best if you already have a phone. Lowest priced plans and no device deals worth mentioning.
What about MVNOs? Do they suck? No. Most people will never know the difference. If you’re in a busy tourist area or event, you may get lower priority or sometimes maybe no data at all. Voice is virtually unaffected. Tiers are as follows:
shite tier: prepaid plans (except the top ones)
Bad tier: standard ATT, VZ, T-Mobile same as the top plus prepaid plans.
Good tier: “elite” or “priority” personal plans same as regular business plans
Great Tier: if you have the elite or priority business plan, you’re almost up there with the SS or EMS people.
