Austin Area with kids

Thinking about taking the kids (7&10) to Austin/ Hill Country over spring break. I’ve been to the area few times, but not with kids. Any recommendations for fun, outdoor activities with kids ? Also 1 what’s the latest on COVID restrictions in the area? Thanks.

lolwut?
SA is miserable and the "Green River" is on the Mexico border. I assume you mean the Guadalupe that runs through Gruene, but that will still be too cold to tube in March.
OP, you'll be happy to know that Texas will be wide open come Wednesday of next week, though some fascist companies may still enforce a mask policy.
If you stay in Austin, the newest place for the kids is Kalahari Resort.

The Round Rock Express play across the street - don't know if they will be playing whenever your Spring Break is.
Otherwise, there are a few things to do with kids around town, but you may have to be creative.
