So far I planned the following:
Franklins BBQ ordered curbside in advance
Reservations at Lichas Cantina
Reservations at Emmer and Rye
Reservations at Zanzibar
Deathsquad secret comedy show at Vulcan gas company
Staying at the Westin on 6th
Shall I take a stroll in afternoon to see the bats?
Spend more time on Rainey street?
Lake Travis? if so where to start?
Thanks in advance!

I’m there now. My God this city sucks. I wouldn’t live here if you quadrupled my salary.

We hope to find some while down there. What venues shall I be looking at?

Continental Club has early evening shows and a late show most days. They also have a small room upstairs called The Gallery that is often no cover. The Broken Spoke will usually have a country type band and Saxon Pub will have singer songwriter types as well as bands. I always recommend a stop at Donn's Depot. Its old school with a lot of old geezers (70 and up) two stepping with hot young girls. The later it gets the younger the crowd gets and the old folks head home. There will be a decent band playing old country, a lot of times Donn's band and sometimes well known musicians will show up and sit in. Parking at Donn's or any place in austin can be a PIA so Uber if you can.
