It will be nice. Moab fills up that time of year with people from the ski towns looking to escape mud season.

If you're also going to the Grand Canyon then just fly into Phoenix and work your way up. That way you wont have to deal with snow. Will probably get cheaper flights and car rentals there too as the snowbirds will be heading north for the spring.
Grand Junction (GJT) is also an option if you don't mind connecting. That's the closest airport to Moab and if you get lucky with the weather you can make a loop that includes southern CO - Mesa Verde, Durango, Silverton, Telluride, Gunnison, etc. If the weather is bad in the San Juans then loop west to Monument Valley, Page, Bryce, Zion, etc.
