Any of you get caught by having your flights cancelled or delayed? How long before you were able to get to your destination?

No. No one has ever had a flight delayed or canceled.

Are you stuck somewhere and need help?
About 5 years ago trying to go Nola to Vail, CO on American it took about 22 hours to end up getting there with luggage arriving the day before I left. Nola-Dallas-Vail but turned back to DFW once over Colorado- next flight to Vail but flight got cancelled- Phoenix- Denver but turned back to the gate in PHX due to mechanical issues- Denver- 2 hour shuttle to Vail.

just a trip at the end of the month. Considering altering vacation to a drive instead of fly.

I’d fly…Until flight was cancelled…Then drive.

From Katy to where? Under 6 hours, worth driving. Between 6-10, either driving or flying. Over 10, likely stick with flying

I took off from SEA to JNU on a Sunday afternoon and arrived in Juneau on Tuesday. Ended up in Sitka, Anchorage and back down to Seattle before we finally were able to land here. I took the risk, knew there was snow and marginal weather.

Ouch, doesn't sound like fun. Since I don't know my AK geography, is there no easy way to get from Sitka to Juneau? I guess if they kept you on the plane and flew you from Sitka to Anchorage that's one thing, but seems like ANC is way out of the way on that trip unless it was part of the milk run flight.

12 hour ferry or plane. Its on an island, no road access.
The pie at the Sitka airport is awesome though.

12 hours at JFK once. Was supposed to land in NOLA in the early afternoon but didn’t until 1am. I felt sorry for the flight crew because they had to go back to New York afterwards.

Leaving Gulfport one time our old Delta MD88 had the backup oxygen leak out overnight so we had to wait for some baw to wake up and drive his truck there and bring some oxygen. Then we taxi out and the plane jerks hard and stops. One of the brakes locked up and they had to jack the plane up on one side and tow it back to the gate. We're now sitting back inside at 10 am with our 5:30 am flight at the gate. Not knowing how long it would be and not wanting to get on that pos 80s plane I called DL and they put us in first class for the next scheduled flight out of Gulfport so it worked out I guess.
