We had a condo booked in mid October and they didn’t expect power back for a few weeks and would have lots of repairs going on for months including window replacement and roofing. We didn’t think it would be worth it.

Perdido Beach Resort closed for hurricane repairs. This work is already ongoing, however, it is anticipated that reopening will not occur until March of 2021.

Perdido Beach Resort was past due for some updating on the interior. Obviously the circumstances are unfortunate, but hopefully they’ll make good use of the time.

We were supposed to stay at Phoenix West Ii October 4-11 but got confirmation on Tuesday from our property management company that there are no reservations allowed until mid-October due to major HVAC issues.
We ended up booking 4 units at Shores of Panama in PCB instead as they were the only complex that looked halfway decent that had enough open units for our group semi-last minute.
Anyone ever stayed there? Not sure what in the hell to expect as I haven’t been to PCB in 20 years.

Just got back from orange beach today.
Most places are open, and no one gives a crap about masks. Florabama didn’t even make you where a mask to walk in the door. It was very nice to feel a sense of normalcy this weekend

Kiva Dunes reopens this Friday. They were slammed by the storm - I imagine there is still a good bit of clean up to do.
