Glad you had fun but you basically did everything you said you didn’t want to do. You stayed downtown when you specifically said you didn’t want to bc of bums. Then you went out in midtown which is the epicenter for 22 year olds shooting jagger.

The Boot is very legit
Hotel Allesandra is Houston’s version of the W Hotel
Sounds like you had a good time. It’s a damn big city that’s very spread out, as you find out there’s a lot of preferential places you’ll find from people on here. All in all, there is a ton of cool things to do here, fantastic restaurants, and social activities to keep you busy for a month.
