Headed there in a few weeks. Have never been, just looking for some things to do in the area. No little kids.

Have fun at the Dollar General!

You’re gonna be in the middle of nowhere. Probably close enough to go to Cherokee, Bryson City, or some the North Georgia mountains attractions. I’d start there.
I’m sure it’s beautiful though, I’d double check to see how the wildfires are right now though. I think they were close to your area

Not a whole lot to do in Marble but it is quite pretty. They just opened a new rail cart ride in Andrews which looks fun. Haven’t done yet but may this week.

Drive through Nantahala Gorge and head to Nantahala lake. Plenty of trails to hike. I’m not a casino person but there is one in Murphy that is pretty nice. On the other side of the Valley Mt ridge is Fires Creek Wilderness. Beautiful natural area with trout stream if you fish. Downtown Hayesville is very quaint and not as visited as the N Ga or other western NC mountain towns and has more to offer than Andrews. Hayesville Brewing on Hwy 64 looks like a shack but is really great. Fine dining at the Copper Door. Other good breweries in the downtown square area (Nocturnal Brewing). My in laws live all over that area and being a north LA flat lander, I always enjoy being there. Just have to drive some if you are in Marble.

Thanks for the info. Yeah the cabin is pretty remote, looking forward to unplugging for a couple of days. The rail cart ride looks pretty cool.

Head to Murphy Chop House
You can go check out the largest 10 commandments at Fields of the Woods, it’s creepy as frick.

Take a ride out to Franklin and eat at Caffe REL and then go down 28 and checkout the waterfalls and do some shopping in Highlands.
Hit up the depressing arse casino in Murphy.
