Anyone ever been? Tips, restaurants, golf?? How are the beaches? Recommendations for hotels?

I've stayed in Punta Mita 4 times in the last 5 years. LOVE that part of Mexico.
I have stayed at the Four Seasons, St. Regis, and Conrad Hotel all in Punta Mita. My last trip was really to Sayulita back in November but it's close to Punta Mita. I have played all the courses around there too. Family trip? You and the significant other? biz trip? etc..

There are 2 courses if you stay at either the Four Seasons or St. Regis that are unreal. The Pacifico course houses the famous Tail of the Wail signature hole, where the par 3 is an island green in the Pacific Ocean (which you can only play in the afternoon due to the tide). Jack Nicklaus designed course. If you like courses where over half the holes are on the ocean and you have mountain views...then they are for you. Expect to pay around $500/round (this included clubs I had to rent, sleeve or two of balls, etc..)
Higuera course on the Conrad hotel is around $300/round (rentals etc...) not as nice as the other 2, but still bad arse.
Take a trip to Sayulita, 20 minutes north of Punta Mita. They advertise it as a little surf town, but it is starting to get a little touristy BUT, it is a great little town to shop, more bar scene. etc..
Beaches in Punta Mita, if you are staying at St. Regis or Four Seasons are unreal. Beautiful and only people from those resorts are on them.

Awesome. Business reward trip and I think they are doing the Four Seasons. Thanks for the tips.

Four Seasons Punta Mita is legit! Loved it so much the first time went back the next year. Just checked rates, and holy frick! Triple what we paid just a few years ago. Bidenflation is spilling over the border!
BTW, online pics don’t do this place justice, a really beautiful property.

You’ll love it. Sounds weird, but one of the nicest Four Seasons I’ve been to.

I too went for sales club at that four seasons. Nothing better than 5 star amenities when you don’t have to pay for it.
