Have recs for guides up and down the Keys, either offshore or flats/backcountry. Tarpon bite is going off right now. Bonefish are hit and miss
I had a thread on the outdoor board. I've got a bone/tarpon trip with Bud N Mary's. I think my guide is Al Polofsky. Any reviews on him by any chance?

If you're in Islamorada one evening, stop by Lor-e-lei for dinner. They have a huge mermaid sign out by Hwy 1 and you can't miss it. They have good food, live music and great views of the sunset. They are right next to a marina and have a lot of sailboats anchored out in the bay. Makes for a really great atmosphere. It's all set up right there in the open on the beach.

I want to go to the Keys. Not sure why I have it so up my travel list. Wife and I don't do the bar thing. Like to eat, beach, and water. Key West our best option? Will want to do some fly fishing, and the wife will want to walk and shop. Maybe some diving.

Stay away from Key West if you want to see beaches. The upper keys are a better bet for that.
