Sandals Ochi Beach Resort (Jamaica)- Review

I just recently got back from my Honeymoon, and I wanted to get a quick review of my experience.
Rating: 6/10.
We got there Monday evening after taking a 2 hour bus ride from the Montego Bay airport, and the butler who was assigned to us was very helpful.
The room however was really warm, and the AC wasn't working correctly. They finally fixed it after 2 days of being there.
The food was overall mediocre, which was kind of expected given they're trying to feed 1000+ people. They did have a ton of options, 16 restaurants total, but everything tasted just okay. I would recommend going to the buffet style restaurants over the sit down ones, just because the service was slow.
The pools were very nice, but the chairs with umbrellas were first come first serve. You couldn't get a chair unless you claimed them at 6am. There were some nice shaded areas under the trees on the beach side, which was our go to.
The service was the best part of the experience and the excursions were really fun.
I would say if you plan on visiting one of these resorts, just dont go in expecting the world or you will be disappointed.

I had the same experience at Sandals Ocho.
Drive from airport was longer than I expected, room was hot (just like yours) and it also took them 2 days to fix the issue.
It wasnt awful, but I regretted not just going to Montego Bay instead.

Went to Ziva Jamaica awhile back and much prefer the Mexico All inclusives. Food, beaches and service was much better imo.
The Mexicans hustle vs Jamaicans being on their own time.
