Leaving Atlanta early afternoon for Las Vegas on Friday and returning to Atlanta Monday at 2:30pm. I've already purchased a round trip shuttle (minivan) online for just $71.50. I was required to set the date, time of the flights and when we want to be picked up at the Resort when we return home.
Since there are 5 of us (3 young children), the Total Sports Travel wanted us to get 2 rooms at the Aria Resort since the maximum number of persons allowed per room reservation is 4 when all 5 of us would fit comfortably in the 520 Sq ft rooms with 2 queen beds and a sofa. I ended up finding a good deal at MGM Grand through Costco Travel where we'll be in the Executive Queen Suite facing the Strip. 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa in a 675 sq ft room. I even bought a collapsible cooler (60 can capacity) for the room since using the refrigerator isn't free in most resorts on the strip.
There are a ton of events for all ages in LV. We have reservations at the Sphere on Saturday afternoon and have an itinerary to eat at restaurants along the strip with reservations. We'll be spending some time eating at Aria's restaurants. Bought a 3 day Monorail pass so we can travel up and down the LV Strip and one of the stations is at MGM. I did hear depending on where your room is located, it can be up to a 30 minute walk to the MGM swimming pools.
I'm going to wait until the day of the game to find tickets for the LSU-USC game on the ticket apps unless you can convince me that it will be not a wise decision.
