Last Chance Bar and Grill at the far east end of North Caicos is a good time, as well.

Enjoy. If you find yourself at the marina Sharkbite is a nice little bar. View is nice and the food is acceptable for a bar and grill.
Our Villa is basically across the street from Turtle Cove (Marina), so will definitely spend some time there.

Just returned from Turks and Caicos. We stayed at Seven Stars in Grace Bay and had an excellent time. The resort, beach and water is magnificent! We sat on the beach from 10am-5pm everyday and went out for a nice dinner at night.
The highlights food wise was Grace’s Cottage, The Infinity Bar and Embers. We never felt unsafe and walked home from dinner every night on the beach. We will return!
The next time we go we’ll probably do an excursion on the water and explore the Caicos islands. But we were perfectly happy just relaxing this trip.

We will be going in December for our honeymoon and staying at Seven Stars. Very excited to not do anything but lay on the beach.
Any recommendations for restaurants or must dos?

You will be close to two very good restaurants, Coco Bistro and Infiniti. Grace’s Cottage is close too and very good. Raj the Entertainer is fun to see. He has been at Castaways which will be close to you too.

You’ll be there during peak season (I think) so make sure you make reservations for the restaurants you want to go to. I’d definitely go to the Infinity Bar (2 resorts over), Coco Bistro and Grace’s Cottage. These are more upscale. For more casual there’s Hemingway’s (prob still need reservations at dinner) and we walked to Rickie’s Flamingo Cafe at lunch for some fun beach bar vibes. We walked to all of these.
The grocery store is a block from Seven Stars and is nice and clean and has a lot of options. Pretty much an American grocery store. I hope you’ve already been informed on the high prices of everything there.
If you’re liquor drinkers definitely pack two liquor bottles. Alcohol is crazy expensive there. They have a local beer “Turks Head” that’s decent and your best bet for beer. It’s still pricey but nowhere near the price of what other domestic/import beers are. It think a 6 pack of corona was like $28. The local beer was around $15.
That being said, you’re allowed to bring a small soft cooler on the beach and we made our own cocktails and brought our Turks Head beers with us to our chairs. Seven Stars gives you two thermos type containers so we used those. Rooms have mini fridge and ice makers. The beach service is very good too if you want food and drinks from Seven.

Coco Bistro- get reservations prior to your trip.
Cocovan Airstream Lounge- is just in front of Coco Bistro and was great for lunch/dinner.
Bella Luna Ristorante and Pizzeria- The pizza was much better than the restaurant.
The Almond Tree- this was where we had our best meal on the island.
We stayed at Seven Stars, and it as a great resort. I would also recommend getting a car while you are there. It made it easy to get to other parts of the island. Also, if you are into snorkeling Coral Gardens was a great spot not to far from Seven Stars.
Also, if you are flying out on a Saturday or Sunday, I would highly recommend looking into VIP Flyers Lounge. They will walk you through security and you have your own private lounge with AC, food, and drinks. It was worth every penny when we flew out on a Saturday.

There is no there beach in the Caribbean as long or as pretty as Grace Bay Beach. Period. There are much smaller very pretty beaches but nothing on the scale of Grace Bay.

quote:Agree! It’s pretty amazing. I imagine you could walk for 2 hours or more from one end to the other before you reach rock or a body of water that would make you turn around.
