Per SEC Sports: Tennessee, the No. 2 seed, sprinted out to an early commanding lead and ended the Cinderella run of 8-seed Texas A&M with a 65-50 victory in the SEC Tournament championship game on Sunday at Amalie Arena.
The Aggies playing were playing their fourth game in as many days, and came out looking like that had finally begun to take a toll on their legs.
Tennessee, which had the first two days of the tournament off and had played one fewer game, came out looking much fresher. The Vols scored the game's first 14 points.
