Three-star outside linebacker Damani Staley from Columbia, SC (Ridge View) announced on Twitter Wednesday morning that he has committed to South Carolina.


Staley is the son of former Gamecocks running back Duce Staley who played in the NFL 1997-2016 with the Philadelphia Eagles and later with the Pittsburgh Steelers where he won a Super Bowl.

South Carolina now has 4 commitments for the class of 2017 with the addition of Staley.
