Former LSU defensive tackle Walter "Buddy" Mathis announced this week that he is transferring to Auburn.
The Savannah, Ga. native played in 12 games during his true freshman year this past season, registering nine total tackles.
Mathis will have three years of eligibility left at Auburn.
