I don’t think we are that far off from that now. It pretty much takes anyone a year or two to get productive…..and then it is just a crapshoot. Why pay unproven kids millions upon millions of dollars?

The point of the transfer portal is not just to get promotions….a whole lot of them get “‘’processed” through it too. Some will have to drop down to a mid-major or even Div 2….but all should find a new home.
