I’m not. At all inspired, however, I quit working long ago about other people’s sexual habits. What is important in this world is fishing!

What do you do with your time now?
This is a great question…and one of my concerns approaching retirement. That is honestly the reason most people don’t retire sooner.
I actually have found a lot more to do in retirement than I ever thought I would. If you start noticing, there are all kinds of programs to do constructive, worthwhile activity. For instance, I am working on getting my Master Naturalist certification. That will enable me to periodically run a route of trail cameras set up to inventory and catalog wildlife in my area. They also do something similar on the coast.
My point is, you do not need to have a fortune saved to travel the world in order to keep yourself occupied in retirement. Now, that’s okay if that is what you choose. However, if you screw around and work too long, your wife’s next husband will be spending the money that you worked for while you are taking a “dirt nap”!

I didn’t know free speech alley was still a thing. One time some frickhaed called my girlfriend a “cum sucking whore” there and she got pissed!

Price here in Germany this morning was $8.77 per gallon
Why is that? Do they have to buy all of their oil?

What a scumbag that guy is. You're in shape, have direction, and you have to threaten women to get stimulation? Low. Low.
Agree completely…..totally opposite of what you would want as a military officer. Honestly, I am suprised he was able to get into West Point….

Man, that is a damn nasty wound…better take care of it.
As for the wiener dog…I have no tolerance for any dog that is aggressive towards people. He is very lucky that I am not his owner…I would have already put a bullet in his head.
While this is fresh on your mind, you need to ask yourself whst you are going to do the next time he does this….

Mini splits are awesome!

plan to retire June 28, although might do it in 27. Had the quarterly meeting with my financial guys - no reason I can't retire today except for healthcare costs - which I can certainly pay but might hold out until 28....although in my heart I want to retire in 27.
I retired about a year ago and tell everyone that I recommend retiring as soon as you are financially able. You can think of a thousand reasons not to retire…but believe me, it will work out.
Retire while you are still in good health.
re: Is it safe to attend the Ole Miss game?

Why would someone mess with your truck?
I assume it has a MS license plate.
Correct, but it is an LSU license plate and I also have an LSU alumni sicker on it.

If you know ANYONE’S political affiliation with having a conversation about politics, they need to get a life. There are a whole lot more important things in this world.
I have lived in central Mississippi for the past 20 years or so and I’ll tell you that ole miss fans are pissed. I typo\icall attend all LSU away games when we play in Oxford or Starkville, but I am not planning to attend this one.
I am not really concerned about getting hurt, but there is so much potential for a fricked up weekend due to some arse picking a fight or somebody fricking with my truck, that it is just not worth it to me.
If you get in a fight, regardless of who starts it, as an LSU fan you can bet you’ll be spending the rest of the weekend in the LaFayette County jail.

President Trump….is that you?
Not that it helps, but just so you know….there is no such thing as an “HDTV antenna”. And anything labeled as such probably costs too much.
When I tailgate for LSU games I use a tv with a $9 set of rabbit ears connected and pick up no less than 15 channels in full HD signal. No fancy electronics or amplifier or anything….just a foot-long piece of coaxial cable screwed into the rabbit ears and the back of the tv. I’ll be glad to show it to anyone that wants to see it when football season starts.
I think it is a lot more about locale than electronics, because I can’t get that many HD channels when I set up in central Mississippi at my house.

I got a quote from my HVAC guy the last time he was in the attic, and he came back with $4,500….i didn’t even answer him!
That is awesome!
I am a big fan of battery powered tools…I even have a chainsaw that works very well. However, I can’t see how a battery powered lawnmower could possibly work worth a damn, unless you have an incredibly small yard.
I disagree totally with what they are saying…however, I think they have every right to say it. They just need to be ready to suffer any consequences. I really have no tolerance for censorship in this country,

This makes sense. Hope we get some better quality pizza out of the deal.

This is interesting to me…who granted this land to your ancestors? I thought the original land grants were far earlier than that.

It’s all because of the new tax district set up around LSU.
WTF could be the point of that? There doesn’t seem to be enough tax base in that locale to make a difference to a city the size of Baton Rouge
