Paul Finebaum Thinks Notre Dame Should Be Banned From The CFB Playoff
Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports
On ESPN's First Take on Monday prior to the Notre Dame vs. Louisville game, Paul Finebaum was asked whether the Fighting Irish would return to the CFB Playoff. His answer didn't hold any punches...
quote:

“I think they can be 10-2, but they are not going to the playoffs and frankly, they should never be allowed back to the playoffs after their embarrassing loss last year to Clemson. They should be given a five year probation.”
Do you agree?

Five year probation for not having a ginger, bearded mascot.

The last Notre Dame team capable of competing at this level took the field in 1993 under coach Lou Holtz. LINK Ban them until they can compete in and win a P5 conference.

No conf championship game means no playoff spot IMO. It’s ridiculous to have it otherwise. Yeah that extra game against a usually-tough team to get more banged up and put more film out there...not a big deal.

I going to need Dennis4lsu to chime in on this one.

I thought this would be about them being a part of a conference and not about losing in the playoffs.
