The Baltimore Ravens shocked the world by making a trade for Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby, only to pull out of the deal a few days later due to a “failed medical evaluation.” Here's why...
quote:

“The consensus was that Crosby would be able to play in 2026. The Ravens’ concern centered on the uncertainty of Crosby’s durability after a couple of seasons in Baltimore because of a degenerative issue in his knee, a source told ESPN.”

This is such BS. It seems like they knew they had the out of the “failed physical” in their back pocket. And when they saw the market cool down, they could get similar value with Tre Hendrickson and keep their 1st rounders draft picks. Classless honestly. The leagues taken notice, kinda dirty move thats legal but nobody does because you don’t want it done to you.

Is there a degenerative issue in the knee? I don't see the problem with teams pulling out after a physical. It's not like it hasn't happened before. Now if that needs to happen sooner then Ok, I'll agree. I dont' think teams usually get a physical before they start negotiating. It's usually negotiate a deal then a physical. Now if Ravens are saying something about his knee that isn't true, then that is dirty.

I think once the excitement of having a big name guy thats good right now wore off, they realized this dude is going to be 29 in a few months and has missed plenty of time the last 2 seasons with knee and ankle injuries. They just had buyers remorse and messed up his market value to get out of something they initiated. Shitty city, shitty organization, shitty move.
