I’ve only read Dark Tower series. I appreciate his writing ability though.

I doubt it man. Salem's Lot is one of my favorite King novels, but those parts in DT were straight awful and pointless. I don't need to read about King's struggles with alcohol through a character surrogate, those parts single handedly made Wolves of the Calla go from a solid book to a very mediocre book.
