Man, that was a dark book. A good one, though. Well-written, good story line, decent characters, but quite a bit sadistic and gory. Someone said it was the best book they'll never read again, and I agree.

Yeah, it's a good book, but one of the most brutal books I've read for sure. Definitely sadistic as hell towards the main character. And yeah, definitely not one I have an urge to reread despite me considering it a good read.
I wonder how many have been reading it because of Dungeon Crawler Carl and get shocked.
