Hi All,

One of my favorite things to do is shop for used books. As Amazon has grown, used book stores are harder to find and Amazon will rarely allow a browser to see an obscure title. To this end, would any of you be so kind as to share authors or works that are good, or were once popular, that are now more obscure? I’ll start with two:

A.J. Cronin- was fairly popular novelist/short story writer, but many under 50 have never heard of him. I’ve read “The Spanish Gardener” (beautiful) and one of his Cold War spy novellas (solid story with good pacing).

F. Marion Crawford- was apparently very popular in elites circles around the beginning of the 20th century. Diverse works- novels, short stories, and Iberian History.
